Bike to School Day is May 10, 2017

Hey kids! Add more fun to your school day by riding your bike to school Wednesday, May 10th! Join students from all over the nation, including schools here in Shasta County in riding bikes to school. Live too far to bike? Choose a location closer to school, like a park or store, and meet up with friends, teachers and parents for a ride into school.

2015 Bike to School Day press release (pdf)

Schools are invited to form a team for the Shasta Bike Challenge. Each day students ride their bike to school, the park, on a trail and with their families they are entered into the Shasta Bike Challenge drawing, plus earn points for their school team. Students under 13 must participate in the Challenge with a parent.
