The 16th Annual National Bike to School Day is the first Wednesday in May. Bike to School Day is a day when communities come together to celebrate a child’s active and safe trip to school. Teachers, staff, and volunteers are encouraged to coordinate their school’s event using the Getting Started Guide : Walk & Bike to School.

Please register your school’s event and watch the Coach Balto’s Bike Bus Q & A for ideas. Contact Sara (ssundquist@shastacounty.gov) if you are interested in banners to promote your event, a flyer template, or safety vests.
