Meet and start at the Shasta Family YMCA south parking lot. Head to Old Shasta’s Old Time Holiday Celebration via the Sacramento River Trail and Middle Creek Trail. 12 miles, intermediate-friendly due to a long gradual climb.

The rides in this Bike About Shasta series will feature trail etiquette and safety tips for riding in traffic, allow you to experience the comfort of riding in a group, and familiarize you with routes that may be different from motor vehicle routes. We will provide a bike pump, so if your tires need air, come a little early. Please make sure you have a bike in good working order, bring a water bottle and helmet (required for rides). Lights on your bike are strongly encouraged. Rides will be conducted by Anna Blasco and Sara Sundquist, Certified League of American Bicyclist Instructors.  Ride will be cancelled if heavy rain and wind.
