Take a road ride with the Shasta Wheelmen each Wednesday evening in the month of May. These rides build throughout the month with a final ride to the Shasta Dam and back. All rides are no-drop.

This ride will start and end at the Shasta Bike Depot in Downtown Redding (1322 California Street, Redding 96001). Departure time is no later than 5:35pm from the Shasta Bike Depot courtyard. This ~14 mile ride is a gravel ride from the 2024 Bigfoot Adventure Challenge– so get rewarded in both challenges during one ride! This Bigfoot Adventure Challenge route takes full advantage of the amazing urban gravel opportunities from your home, favorite coffee spot, or workplace in Redding. You can expect some Sacramento River Trail, low traffic city streets, Churn Creek Greenway gravel and single track, (green level “urban gravel” fun).
