Saturday, January 6, 2024, Downtown Redding Historical Walk

Join Healthy Shasta, the Shasta Historical Society, and Viva Downtown Redding in a 1 mile + walk to explore Redding’s history. We will walk to look at several buildings and locations to learn about their past and current use. Each person will receive a map highlighting the historical locations. The walking tour will be led by the Shasta Historical Society. Heavy rain will postpone. Meet at the Shasta Historical Society, 1449 Market St. Walk will begin at 10 am. This project is funded by the Upstate CA Creative Corps and is the 2nd walk in a series of 6 downtown walks. This walk was originally scheduled for December 2nd but had to be postponed due to scheduling conflict.
