Downtown Redding to Trails Walk, May 30, 2024, 6:30 pm

Join us on a 2-mile round trip walk from the newly emerging Downtown Redding to the Sacramento River Trail on Thursday, May 30, 6:30 – 7:45 pm. We will walk along sidewalks paralleling the separated bikeway on Center Street and Riverside Drive and walk the path under the historic Diestelhorst Bridge.  Learn how this route connects to parks, destinations, neighborhoods, and the Sacramento River Trail. The walk will start at the Shasta Bike Depot, 1322 California Street, Redding. Each walker will receive a printed map. There will be plenty of free parking along California Street and in the parking lot on Tehama and California Streets. This project is in partnership with Healthy Shasta, Viva Downtown, the City of Redding, and Visit Redding, and is made possible by funding from Upstate California Creative Corps.
