The Visioning Project has created opportunities for county decision makers, developers and residents to work together on planning decisions made for Happy Valley and Cottonwood.
Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency Public Health and the City of Shasta Lake collaborated on conducting the first Health Impact Assessment (HIA) in Shasta County. This assessment evaluated 44 different indicators of health that are connected to land use and transportation planning decisions. Both a summary version and the full report are available below.
